Does anyone else find the timing of the radio call really odd in Connie's case? It just seems strange that it was on October 3, right after the hunters left and almost a full day before anyone noticed she was missing. The garbled message doesn’t give us much, but maybe she was trying to explain what was happening. I can't help but wonder if the call was interrupted, either by a fall or maybe something else. Also, how did Ace manage to survive and find his way to a location 15 miles away? Feels like there's a piece of the puzzle we're missing here. Is it possible someone else might have come across them and only helped the dog or maybe something scared them? Would love to hear others’ thoughts on this.

Has anyone else noticed how peculiar it is that Ace, Connie's dog, was found so far away and in good health? It's almost as if Ace was able to navigate the wilderness just fine, which makes me wonder if Connie was with him until a certain point. Was there something or someone that led them those 15 miles apart from the original site? Dogs are usually such loyal companions, and it seems odd that Ace ended up alone at the Ranger Station. Could there have possibly been an attempt to send for help? I keep thinking about whether the forest footpaths or certain natural markers might hold some clues that were overlooked. Any thoughts on how Ace could have managed his way through that rugged terrain without Connie?
