It's such a difficult reminder of the internal battles faced by victims of domestic violence. I've been thinking a lot about the red flags that can sometimes be overlooked in these situations. In Shari's case, it's disheartening to learn she was taking those brave steps to distance herself from Keith before that tragic day. It seems like she was trying to protect herself and her children by making those hard decisions, which must have taken so much courage. I'm hoping that sharing and understanding more about her story will continue to raise awareness and help others recognize the signs early enough to get help. My heart goes out to her friends and family, especially Brenden and MacKenzie, who have had to grow up with this loss. May Shari's legacy serve as a beacon for change and protection for those going through similar situations.
