I was thinking about Shanna Mason's case today, and my heart goes out to her children. It's such a terrible thing they've had to endure at such young ages. I came across Patricia's statements—and you can just feel the weight of her pain. Losing a loved one in such a senseless act of violence is something no family should go through. I hope the community continues to rally around Shanna's kids as they grow up, providing them with support and love, especially now that their mom's case has some closure. It's crucial for victims' families to feel they're not alone in their grief. Has anyone here been involved in community support for families like Shanna's? How has that experience been for you?

I’ve been thinking a lot about Shanna Mason’s children lately. I can’t even begin to imagine how hard it must be for them to grow up without their mom. From what I’ve read, Shanna was really devoted to her kids, and it’s just so sad to know they’ve had to start navigating life without her so young. The GoFundMe set up for them was such a heartfelt response from the community, proving there are still so many good people willing to step up in times of need. I really hope these kids get all the love and support they need to heal and thrive despite this tragedy. It’s awful that gun violence has destroyed yet another family. Stay strong, little ones. ❤️
