I've been following the case of Margaret George, and I can't help but think about the friends and colleagues who saw her every day at work. Working at an independent living center requires so much compassion and care, qualities Margaret clearly had in abundance. I wonder if her coworkers noticed any signs of distress or changes in her demeanor in the days leading up to this tragedy. It's just so devastating to think of what she might have been going through and how those around her tried to support her. This whole situation serves as a reminder of how crucial it is to be aware of and address signs of domestic strife, both for the individuals directly involved and their communities.
