Hey everyone, I've been following the Whalen Johnson Gurley case and something that's been really on my mind lately is the impact on his young son. I can't even begin to imagine what the little one is going through right now. Losing a parent in such a sudden and violent way must be incredibly confusing and terrifying for a child. I hope Whalen's family has a strong support system in place to help the boy navigate this trauma. It's so frustrating to see how a previous conflict, maybe something that could have been talked out, ended in such a heartbreaking situation. The ripple effects are just devastating, and I feel for everyone involved. If anyone knows of any support groups or resources that could help Whalen’s family, especially his son, it might be good to share those here. This tragedy reminds us all of the personal toll gun violence takes. I just wish there was an easy solution to prevent this kind of pain from happening to other families.
