Has anyone else noticed the lack of coverage on Efren Valdez's case? It’s been almost five years now, and it feels like there's been little to no movement in the search efforts. I get that South Gate is a busy area, but surely someone must have seen something that day. Considering he was showing signs of dementia, it seems strange that there aren't more initiatives focusing on similar missing person cases involving vulnerable adults. I wonder what more can be done to prevent these situations or to bring more attention to existing ones like Efren’s. Would love to hear thoughts or suggestions from the community on any resources or actions that might help increase awareness and possibly shed light on his disappearance. Hoping we can somehow aid his family in finding the answers they desperately need.

Hey everyone, I was just reading through some details about Efren Valdez's case, and something that caught my eye was the fact that he was showing signs of dementia before he disappeared. My thoughts are with his family; it must be incredibly challenging not knowing where he is, especially given his condition. It got me thinking: Do any of you have experience or know about specialized search initiatives for people with dementia? I'm curious if there are any techniques or technologies that can be particularly helpful in locating individuals with memory issues. Maybe someone has tips or info on groups that focus on this type of situation? Let's keep brainstorming ways to help bring Efren home.

Has anyone else looked into the CCTV footage availability in the area where Efren Valdez was last seen? I know this might sound like a long shot given how much time has passed, but I’ve noticed that sometimes local businesses don’t clear their archives immediately. Especially those small, family-run stores. If anyone is local to South Gate, it might be worth asking around to see if any of the shop owners have anything from October 23, 2018. Although it’s a long time ago, sometimes people save footage for years without realizing it. It’s a sad situation, and even the smallest detail could be the key to figuring out what happened. ?
