Has anyone else felt the immense weight of loss that both Leonard Reddick’s and Tyaisha Key’s families must be feeling? It’s so tragic when young lives are devastated by a single moment of violence. Despite Leonard's past, I've read that he was hoping to turn his life around, aiming for a fresh start with his wife. It’s heartbreaking that he didn’t get that chance. I can’t help but wonder about how these complex journeys toward change are interrupted by community violence. How can we, as a society, better support individuals trying to leave dangerous paths behind? My thoughts are with everyone affected by this case.
