I can't shake the feeling of sadness surrounding the tragic case of Tairiq Matthews. It's deeply concerning how a disagreement between two young men turned into something so devastating. I keep thinking about what could have been done to prevent this tragedy. Community centers or youth programs that focus on conflict resolution could be a way to channel young people's energy more positively and prevent such tragedies. It's a heavy reminder of the importance of addressing these issues early on. My thoughts are with Tairiq’s family and friends as they continue to navigate the loss of someone so young, with so much life ahead of him. Each one of us has a role to play in fostering a safer community, and I hope this case pushes us all towards making meaningful changes.
