I was just reading about the tragic events at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital and couldn't help but wonder about the hospital's security measures during that time. It's chilling to think that someone like Dr. Bello managed to get past security with an AR-15. I can't imagine the fear and chaos that unfolded on those floors. Dr. Tam was so young and dedicated, just doing her job and covering a shift for a colleague. It's scary to think that her compassion put her in harm's way. Has anyone heard if there have been significant changes to security protocols at the hospital since then? Sending my thoughts to Dr. Tam's family and everyone affected by this senseless act.
