I’ve been following the tragic case of Miguel Hernandez, and I just can’t stop thinking about the community impact of this senseless violence. It’s devastating to see a young life cut short right when he should have been looking ahead to his future. As a parent myself, I can’t imagine the agony his family must be enduring.
The chilling aspect here is the involvement of MS-13, which has been a persistent threat in our area. It makes you wonder how these gangs continue to recruit and gain influence, especially among young people. It seems like such an uphill battle for law enforcement, but more so for the communities trying to protect their youth from such influences.

In particular, I’m curious about the motive and if any others might have been involved or influenced the events leading up to the shooting.
