Hey everyone, I hope it's okay to share a different perspective on the tragedy surrounding Larry Cargo's death. Beyond the devastating impact on his family and friends, I think we should also be acknowledging the larger community's response to these ongoing violent incidents in New Orleans. It's been really moving to see how people came together to hold vigils and create online memorials for Larry. But alongside these touching tributes, there’s a palpable sense of frustration and fatigue. It seems like so many residents feel trapped in a cycle of violence with no end in sight. People are often left wondering what more can be done to make their neighborhoods safer and to support each other better in these difficult times. Especially in an area that's been grappling with high crime rates for so long, the fear can be incredibly overwhelming. What have you all seen or experienced in your communities that's helped bring about change or provided some hope in similar situations? I think hearing stories of resilience and solutions, even small ones, could be powerful and encouraging. Stay safe out there, everyone.
