I came across this case about Jose Ossorio and honestly, it breaks my heart thinking about how close he was to home when this tragedy happened. I can’t imagine the pain his family must be going through, especially when you consider he was just 19 and had so much life ahead of him. I read that the suspects were caught on surveillance fleeing the scene, but it took six months to arrest Donovan Boomer. This makes me think about how important it is for communities to have efficient surveillance systems and how crucial public involvement is in these investigations.
Even with Boomer's arrest, it’s unsettling to hear that the motive is still unclear. Was it a case of mistaken identity, or something deeper? The impact of gang violence on our communities is devastating, and we need more initiatives to help steer young people away from that path. My thoughts are with Jose's friends and family as they navigate this difficult time. I really hope justice is fully served, and the investigation provides some much-needed answers.
Hey everyone, I’m wondering if anyone here has any insights on the surveillance footage from the night Jose Ossorio was killed. I’ve seen a few reports mentioning it played a big role in nabbing Donovan Boomer, but I haven’t seen any details on exactly what the video captured beyond the suspects and the white sedan. Does anyone know if the footage was clear enough to get a good look at the suspects’ faces or license plates? It’s unsettling to think how close to home this happened for Jose's family, and I can't imagine the courage it takes for them to face each day. It's painful to see these kinds of senseless acts, and my heart goes out to his loved ones. If the video is as crucial as they say, it’s a testament to how important those little bits of evidence can be in piecing together justice. Anyone else curious about this, or maybe someone with info on how these things are usually handled?
