Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Gregory Pena’s case, and something that really sticks with me is the image of the memorial at the scene. It’s both touching and haunting to think about the 150 candles and photos placed there, each one representing a memory and a moment where people came together to honor Gregory. The fact that the community organized this memorial shows the profound impact Gregory had on those around him.
For those who visited or were part of setting up this tribute, it must have been incredibly emotional, yet also empowering to stand together in the face of such a senseless act of violence. It’s heartwarming to see the community rally and support each other during such a devastating time.
I'm curious if anyone has more insight or personal stories about Gregory that they’d like to share? It’s important to continue celebrating his life while seeking justice. This violence has got to stop, and maybe these stories can inspire efforts to prevent further loss.
Thinking of Gregory’s family and friends, and hoping they find some peace.
Stay safe, everyone.
