I came across Neyon Hamilton's case while browsing and felt compelled to join the conversation. Reading about his aspirations to become a carpenter really hits home. Here's a young man who was trying to turn his life around and contribute something positive to the world. It's incredibly frustrating that he never got the chance to reach his full potential. Has there been any recent development in terms of community outreach or initiatives in East Flatbush aiming to curb gun violence? I've seen similar communities rally together to create lasting change, and I'm really hoping something like that is happening here. It would be reassuring to know that Neyon's legacy could inspire actions that make a difference. His story shouldn't just be another statistic—he deserves to be remembered and to influence something positive. If anyone knows of groups or events working towards that, please share. It'd be comforting to believe that out of this tragedy, a movement could help prevent future losses and honor Neyon's life.
