Did anyone else feel chills when they heard about the tragic events that happened to La'Kendra Tillmon on August 2, 2018? The fact that she was just driving down Butler Avenue with her loved ones, and then everything changed so suddenly, is just haunting. I keep thinking about her boyfriend and the kids who were in the car with her at the time. Witnessing something so traumatic must have lasting effects on them. It's hard to imagine how terrifying it was for them, and then to have to navigate life without La'Kendra. I read that her family, especially her sister Tanisha, is now taking care of her five children. The strength and resilience of this family are inspiring, though it's so unfair they have to endure this. The community is doing a commendable job supporting them, but I hope we can do everything in our power to keep La'Kendra's story alive and push for anyone who might know something to come forward. Sending thoughts to the Tillmon family and everyone affected. Justice for La'Kendra is overdue. If you know anything—even the smallest detail—please reach out to the Buffalo Police. These families deserve answers and peace.

I’ve been following La'Kendra Tillmon’s case and can’t get over how brave her sister Tanisha is for stepping up to care for all the children. It’s hard to imagine the emotional and financial challenges she’s navigating now, suddenly having to provide for two families. The community support is remarkable, but I wish there were more we could do to ease their burdens and bring attention back to finding those responsible. If anyone has ideas on more ways to support the family or keep this on the radar of law enforcement, it would be great to share and brainstorm. Hoping for justice and closure soon.

I’ve been following La'Kendra Tillmon’s case closely since it happened, and the whole situation is incredibly upsetting. I read recently about how hard it's been for her eldest daughter, Nevaeh, dealing with the loss of her mom at such a young age. It must be an incredibly heavy burden for a child to bear, trying to understand why her mom was taken away in such a senseless act of violence. I can’t even imagine the strength her family, especially her sister Tanisha, must have to now care for all five kids. It’s inspiring to see the Buffalo community come together to support them, but it’s frustrating that the case remains unsolved. Keeping this case in the spotlight is so important. If anyone out there knows something, this family deserves answers and a sense of peace—if there’s anything we can do to help bring that about, we should. Let’s continue to share information and support their call for justice.
