Did anyone else find it curious how there were several reported sightings of Lyrian in New England? I know none of them have been verified, but it makes me wonder if she might have had a reason to head up that way instead of staying in Missouri. It seems like quite a detour if she was trying to start fresh in St. Louis. Could she have been trying to get as far away as possible from Eddie and any connections to her old life? I'm not saying it's likely, but it's worth considering if she had friends or family there willing to help her out or maybe even a plan to lay low for a while. What do you guys think? Totally clutching at straws?
It's eerie how Lyrian Wyvonne Barry-Stallings just seemed to vanish into thin air after boarding that Greyhound bus from Columbus to St. Louis back in 1960. I’ve always been fascinated by missing person cases like this, where the individual just disappears without a trace. I stumbled upon an old bus schedule from around that time and couldn't help but wonder if the route taken might provide any clues. Did anyone ever check if there were any reported incidents or disturbances along that route back then? It's a long shot, but sometimes these small details can reveal something overlooked. Also, if she was trying to escape a controlling relationship, it might be worth looking into whether there were any women’s shelters or similar resources in St. Louis at the time, where she might have sought refuge. It’s such a haunting case that still lingers on; really hoping her family gets the answers they deserve someday.
