I can’t stop thinking about the impact this case has had on the local community where Jose lived and worked. It’s so sad to see someone who was just doing their job and contributing to society fall victim to such senseless violence. It seems like everyone in the neighborhood really admired Jose and valued his presence. The fact that delivery workers have to worry about their safety while simply trying to make a living is just so wrong. I've read that after this incident, many in the community started advocating stronger safety measures for delivery personnel, calling for more patrols in high-risk areas and better protection for those who often work late hours. How are we supposed to ensure that something like this doesn’t happen again? My thoughts are with Jose's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I hope they find some comfort in knowing how much of a positive impact he had on his community.
