It's so saddening to hear about what happened to Debra and Freddie Burgess in their own home. I can't stop thinking about Freddie's young children who were inside during the attack. It's horrifying and heartbreaking to imagine what they must have heard and sensed. I have been following the case closely and can't wrap my head around how or why something this horrific can happen to a family in their own home. It's incredibly frustrating and tragic, especially knowing how impacted the children will be by this senseless violence. I'm hoping and praying for some sort of resolution or break in the case for the family. Justice needs to be served, and those kids deserve to know that whoever did this is caught. My thoughts are most certainly with everyone affected, and it's my hope the community can come together to support them during such a difficult time.
