I was always intrigued by the discovery of Gerald Layne's car in Harrah's Casino parking lot. It's a bit strange, right? He was supposed to be in Placerville, but then his car ends up near Lake Tahoe? I wonder if someone moved it there as a diversion. The parking lot must have been busy, so did no one see who left it there? It makes me think about who might have had something to gain from this whole situation. Maybe someone knew about the cash he was carrying? It's like the car was left there on purpose to throw everyone off. I just can't shake how meticulously planned it might've been. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
