I've been following Kevin Virgo's story closely, and it just breaks my heart every time I think about it. It's so unsettling that someone could be targeted simply for standing up for what's right. I can't stop thinking about how brave he was to intervene for that waitress, knowing full well the kind of people he was dealing with. It's tragic that his courage might have cost him his life. I read that the club employees were worried about retaliation after the first confrontation, which makes me wonder why there wasn't more security or more effort to protect Kevin when he returned. It's easy to say in hindsight, I guess, but I hope this case serves as a wake-up call for businesses to take threats seriously. Kevin's family must be going through such an incredible amount of pain. Hoping the community keeps backing them, and that someone comes forward with information so that his family can find some peace. My thoughts are with them as they navigate this terrible time.
