I've been following the case of Dezerick Brooks and it really got me thinking about how domestic disputes can sometimes fly under the radar until something terrible happens. It's just so sad to see another family torn apart by violence. I can't help but wonder about the previous times the police were called to their home for domestic issues. Were there warning signs that could have been addressed sooner? It's so important for communities to have resources and support systems in place for families struggling with conflict.
