I’ve been following the case of Jeffrey Arroyo closely, and one aspect that really stands out to me is the community's response. The fact that there was such a quick setup of a GoFundMe page to support Jeffrey's family shows just how tight-knit Jackson Heights is. It's really touching to see everyone come together in such a dark time, offering support and standing in solidarity with the family. These gestures can't erase the pain, but they do show the immense love and support in the community. It makes me wonder what more can be done at a community level to prevent such tragedies in the future. What are your thoughts on how we can promote safety and prevent violence in our neighborhoods?
