I'm really troubled by how Alek's case is being handled. It's been so many years, and it's still hard to grasp that the charges against Victor Bahati didn't include murder, especially since Alek didn't survive. I can't help but wonder if there was more to the story that hasn't been uncovered yet. It feels like justice for Alek is still out of reach, and that's so frustrating for her family and friends. They deserve closure and to see the person responsible fully held accountable. It's also daunting to think about how many young people in Syracuse are impacted by gun violence. I really hope the community and police can work together to prevent more tragedies. If anyone has new information, it could be a crucial step towards finally getting justice for Alek.

I just can't stop thinking about how Alek Kuethping's family must be feeling, especially given that the charges don't seem to match the gravity of what happened. It’s baffling how Victor Bahati was only charged with second-degree assault and possession, considering Alek tragically passed away. I'm not a legal expert, but it makes me wonder how this could affect the pursuit of justice for her. Losing a loved one in such a senseless way must be an indescribable pain, and not having the reassurance that justice will be fully served can only add to that pain. My heart goes out to Alek's family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time. If anyone has more insight into why the charges might be limited like this, it would really help to understand the legal process better. The whole community is hoping that Alek’s family can find some peace while ensuring safety for others moving forward.
