I was just reading up on Daniel Sutton Jr.'s case, and it's been on my mind how the community reacted after his tragic death. It's often in this dark aftermath that you see the real strength and support within a community. There were vigils and gatherings on Ernst Street and Hudson Avenue, with neighbors coming together to remember Daniel and advocate for an end to the violence. These gatherings seemed to unify people who, despite their grief, stood together offering support to Daniel's family. It's powerful to see how a community can become a beacon of hope in response to such a tragedy. I hope these efforts continue and bring about real change in Rochester. If anyone here attended those events or knows about others happening soon, I'd love to hear more about how we can continue supporting Daniel's loved ones and promote peace in the neighborhood.
