I'm really struck by the courage of Mtundu Vanterpool's fiancé throughout this entire tragic ordeal. It’s unbearable to imagine the trauma she endured, yet she acted quickly and with such strength. Calling 911 and staying by his side in those awful moments shows incredible resilience. I hope she has a strong support system around her now to help navigate through the aftermath of losing someone she loved so dearly. In these tragic events, it’s often the loved ones left behind who carry the heaviest burden, and my heart truly goes out to her and the rest of Vanterpool's family. It’s a relief to see that justice has been served, but that doesn't dull the pain of their loss. Love and light to everyone affected by this senseless act.
