Did anyone else hear about the four search warrants executed in the investigation of James Green Jr.'s death? I find it really telling about the seriousness of the department's efforts. The fact that they recovered not just firearms but also narcotics says a lot about the underlying issues at play. It's hard to imagine what James' family must be going through, knowing that something so complex was uncovered in connection to his case. It just goes to show how deeply rooted these problems are in some communities. Hopefully, this brings about more comprehensive action against such violence and illegal activities in Rochester. My heart really goes out to those who knew James – they deserve answers and closure.
