I've been following the case of Lakeeta Holloman with a heavy heart. One aspect that has been on my mind is the role of the daycare workers that morning. I can only imagine the shock and trauma they experienced when they heard about what happened. Daycare workers often build close relationships with the children they care for, and knowing that one of their little ones lost a parent in such a horrific way must be incredibly hard. Does anyone know if there was any kind of support offered to them afterward? Emotional and psychological support can be crucial in coping with witnessing the aftermath of a crime like this. It’s just a reminder of how many lives are affected by such a senseless act of violence. Sending strength and love to everyone in Lakeeta's circle.
