I've been following David Pena's case since it happened, and I can't stop thinking about the impact on his mother. I read that she was a frequent voice at local meetings regarding community safety even before this tragedy. It must be incredibly tough for her to continue advocating in the midst of such personal loss. It's a stark reminder of how gun violence affects not just the victim but ripples through the lives of those left behind. If anyone in the Staten Island community knows anything, now’s the time to step up for David and his family. They truly deserve some peace and answers.
