I’ve been following the details around Trez Sloan’s case, and something that’s been on my mind is the impact this tragedy must have had on his neighborhood. Living near Roycroft Drive, I can only imagine the fear and anxiety his friends and neighbors felt after hearing about the shooting. This isn’t something you can just move past when it happens so close to where you live, especially when there hasn’t been any closure or arrests made in relation to Trez’s murder yet. It’s just truly awful. Does anyone here happen to know if there have been any community meetings or gatherings to discuss safety measures or provide support to Trez’s family and others affected by this? In times like these, it would be reassuring to see the community come together and support one another in any way possible.
