It’s so incredibly sad to hear about the circumstances surrounding Pond King's death. Regardless of his past, he was still pretty young and losing his life in such a violent manner is a tragedy. I was reading about the gang issues in East Harlem, and it just makes me wonder how youth like Pond find themselves caught up in these cycles. It's heartbreaking to think what might have been different if there had been more opportunities or support to steer away from that lifestyle. I hope the community can provide some much-needed answers for his family and maybe even find ways to prevent more young people from becoming victims of such violence. This family deserves some degree of closure during this unimaginable time.
