Has anyone else been following the Rashidi Goddard case and noticed how much he meant to his community? I was deeply moved reading about Garvin Smalls mentioning how Rashidi helped so many people find work. It's not every day you come across someone who goes out of their way like that, especially in these times. It seems like he was a beacon of hope for a lot of folks in the Bronx. This shooting being a case of mistaken identity is so unsettling. The lack of developments makes it even more frustrating for everyone seeking justice. It's hard to imagine the impact on his 7-year-old son, losing such a dedicated father. Let’s hope the investigators can make progress soon. If anyone here knows more about community efforts to keep Rashidi's legacy alive or how to support his loved ones, please share.

This case really hits hard because it shows just how random and cruel life can be sometimes. I want to talk about Rashidi's son, who lost his father way too soon. How do you even begin to explain something like this to a 7-year-old? Rashidi seemed like an incredible person who was not only a dad but someone who others could look up to. It’s clear he made a big impact by helping others get work and improve their lives. I can’t imagine what his son is going through, growing up without his guidance. This senseless tragedy affects more than just those close to Rashidi; it impacts everyone who relies on people like him to lift up the community. My heart goes out to his little boy and all who loved him. It feels like there should be more we can do to find justice, especially since it seems like he was mistaken for someone else. If anyone knows anything, please consider reaching out to the authorities. His family, especially his son, deserves answers and some sense of peace.

Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about how Garvin Smalls mentioned Rashidi's efforts in helping folks in his community get jobs. It’s truly upsetting that someone as selfless as him had his life cut short like this. It makes you wonder about the person whose aim was so off that it resulted in the death of an innocent guy who was literally transforming lives for the better around him. I heard the NYPD still doesn't have any substantial leads and it’s disheartening to think his family, especially his young son, is still waiting for some form of justice. When someone like Rashidi, who truly made a difference, becomes a victim, the ripple effect of loss feels even greater. Has anyone heard if there's a community initiative or something of the sort to keep Rashidi's memory alive by continuing his work? I think that would be a powerful way to honor him. Let's keep discussing any info or thoughts, and hopefully, there will be progress soon. Rashidi deserves justice, and his family needs closure.
