It's so difficult to grasp how quickly violence can disrupt lives, especially when thinking about Parris Washington. He was just 31, with so much life ahead of him, and in a matter of hours, it ended so unfairly in his own garage. I'm impressed by the dedication of the investigation team, who used every tool available, like GPS data, which played a huge role in bringing Olajuwon Holt to justice. But I can't help but think about Parris's family and friends who have to navigate life without him now. It's a small relief knowing Holt and Randall Scott were held accountable, but the void they have left is immense. It's reassuring to see the community and law enforcement working together to prevent such tragedies, but the cost of these lessons learned is too high. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved Parris.
