Having read through some of the past discussions on Arthur Estes, I find it intriguing that the Snow Creek Trail, where he planned to hike, was and remains a challenge even for seasoned trekkers. This got me wondering if there could have been any significant weather changes around the time Arthur went missing? Sudden shifts can create dangerous conditions, especially in mountainous regions like Yosemite. If any locals or past hikers who have been in the area during late May can share insights on typical weather patterns or any unusual weather events around that time in 1976, it might offer a fresh perspective, however small. Sometimes these little details can help build a better picture of what might have happened. What do you all think?
