Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the role social settings play in escalating tensions. It’s so tragic that Jonathan Distant’s life was cut short at what should have been a fun gathering, full of friends and music. It’s chilling how quickly things can spiral out of control at large parties. It's heart-wrenching that his girlfriend’s attempts to calm things didn’t work. Such bravery in a chaotic moment. I'm just wondering if there was anything more that could’ve been done to prevent this terrible moment. Maybe better security or having more exits? It’s a tough one, knowing how to steer situations away from violence, especially with so many people around. Sending wishes of comfort and support to Jonathan’s loved ones. No one should feel unsafe at a community gathering, and I hope we can find ways to make these events safer in the future. Let's keep discussing and pushing for those changes.
