Hey everyone, I stumbled upon Bryce Roberts Houpt’s missing persons case while diving deep into unsolved disappearances from the 1970s, and something really caught my attention. Did anyone else find it interesting that despite Bryce disappearing from Sunnyvale, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is handling the investigation? I know they're both in California, but it’s still a bit of a distance. I'm wondering if there's more to the story that might explain why they got involved instead of a more local agency initially. Could it be related to some lead they followed early on that we just don’t know about? Would love to hear any theories or if anyone else has picked up on why Sacramento would be taking the lead on this.
