Hey everyone. I've been following the tragic case of Hakeem Phillips, and I can't stop thinking about the toll it's undoubtedly taken on his three young children. Growing up without their dad is going to be incredibly hard for Donye, Cavailli, and Hakeem Jr. Their lives have been altered in ways I'm not sure they can even grasp right now. It’s a sobering reminder of the real lives impacted by such senseless violence. I truly hope the community can rally around them and provide the support they’re going to need in the coming years. It's vital that they know they’re surrounded by love and care, despite the chaos that’s unfolded. Sending strength to his family and everyone involved in this case. It’s so important we keep discussing these issues to hopefully prevent future tragedies.
