I've been following Destini Smothers' case from the beginning, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around how anyone could do this to someone they claim to love. It's just so incredibly sad to think about her kids growing up without their mom.

I understand the pandemic might have contributed to fewer people being out and about, but it just feels like there were so many missed opportunities to find her sooner.
