I’ve been following Raymond Matthews' case closely, and my heart goes out to his family, especially his grandfather, Harold. I can't imagine the pain they're going through. I wanted to discuss the aspect of community involvement in solving this tragedy. It seems like Crime Stoppers is doing their part, but I'm wondering how else we, as a community, can assist the NYPD and Raymond's family during this tough time. While the detectives continue their work, perhaps holding community meetings or vigils might not only help raise awareness but also provide support and possibly even jog memories of anyone who might have been in the area that night. Sharing flyers and social media posts with Raymond’s picture and details about the case could reach someone who hasn’t heard yet. If anyone has any other ideas or past experiences with helping in such situations, I’d love to hear. We need to stay vigilant and do whatever we can to help bring justice for Raymond and peace to his family. ?
