Has anyone been following the case of Dontreal Alonzo Eleby? It's been weighing on my mind how no arrests have been made since his senseless killing back in 2016. I was reading up on it again today, and I can't imagine what his family, especially his daughter, must be going through all these years without closure. The details in these cases sometimes get blurred, especially when they remain unsolved for so long. The fact that it happened in a hotel on the South I-10 Service Road is peculiar to me. Was there anyone who might have seen something—employees, guests? You'd think there'd be someone around who noticed unusual activity. I really hope anyone with even the smallest piece of information comes forward. It's frustrating to keep hearing about these cases where justice seems to stall, and the families are left with nothing but questions. Isn't there usually more to go on in a homicide scene like a hotel? Keeping my fingers crossed for some new developments and praying for Dontreal's loved ones in the meantime.
