It's intriguing how David Allen Lowe's case has so many loose threads and yet remains unresolved after all these years. One detail that's caught my attention is the plane itself—a red and white 1974 Cessna 172. It's a popular model, so I wonder how hard it would be to track if it was actually in the air during his disappearance. Did anyone ever find out more about flight plans filed around that time, even if it had a different tail number? The lack of a flight plan makes it feel like a calculated move, but surely there might be records or someone at an airstrip who would recall seeing it. Given his distinguished military background, maybe he had underground connections for his flight, considering his Bronze Star lends weight to his character and possible resourcefulness. It's truly baffling how both he and the plane just vanished without a trace.

Did anyone else find it odd that David Lowe apparently took off in a plane without a filed flight plan? As a decorated Vietnam veteran, he must have known the importance of such protocols. I can't help but wonder if this points to a more intentional departure on his part. Was he trying to get away unnoticed? Maybe he felt like he couldn't trust anyone, or needed to disappear for reasons we might never understand. Also, there’s little information on what was happening in his life around that time. Did anyone close to him report any significant changes in his behavior or stressors he might have been under? Every detail, no matter how small, can be crucial, especially in cases like this where there’s so much uncertainty.
