I came across this case about Raven Veal and it's been on my mind ever since. I can't stop thinking about Raven's 3-year-old daughter who witnessed such a horrendous event. How does a child recover from witnessing something so traumatic? It's absolutely gut-wrenching to imagine the emotional scars she might carry from losing her mom in such a violent way. Makes me wonder about the kind of support system that’s in place for her now. Does anyone know if she’s with family who can help her heal and feel safe again? My heart goes out to her and the rest of Raven’s family. They’ve lost so much, and I hope they find some peace and support during this incredibly difficult time. Domestic violence leaves such a ripple effect of pain, touching so many lives beyond those directly involved.
I've been following Raven Veal's case and I just can't get over the fact that her little girl witnessed everything. It breaks my heart to think about what that child must be going through. She was so young, just three, and to see something so horrific happen to her mother right in front of her eyes is beyond comprehension. I've read that she's staying with family now, but I wonder what kind of help and support they have in place for her. It’s got to be a long road to healing from an experience like that. I'm hoping they can find a therapist specializing in trauma for young children. It’s a reminder of how deeply domestic violence can scar, not just victims but their children, who are innocent bystanders. Hoping for justice for Raven, and peace and healing for her little one.
