Has anyone else been following the case of Aldair Melchor? What's been weighing on my mind is the impact on the neighborhood where the shooting happened. I live nearby, and ever since that tragic evening, there's been an eerie tension in the air. Every time I walk down 132nd Street, it's impossible not to think about the fear people must be feeling, wondering if it could happen again. I also can’t stop thinking about Dre's family and how they’re coping. The candlelight memorial was so moving. Seeing all those heartfelt messages really showed how much love there was for him. But clearly, there are still so many unanswered questions. It's unsettling knowing there’s been no arrest. I really hope more people come forward with information soon, for Dre's sake and his family's peace of mind. Has anyone else noticed any changes or local updates since this happened? It just makes you treasure life and your loved ones a bit more, doesn’t it? Thoughts and prayers with the Melchor family.
