It's really moving to see the strength of Limose Dort's family throughout this ordeal. I recently read an article where her son, Janse, shared how courageous and dedicated his mom was, especially given their journey from Haiti. It's just so unfair that after working hard to provide a better life for her children, her life was cut short in such a random act of violence. It's evident that she was a remarkable woman who meant the world to her family. None of them deserved this. I'm hoping that by sharing her story, it can raise more awareness about the impact of gun violence and maybe bring about some change in the community. My heart goes out to them, and I really hope they find some peace and justice through all of this.

Hi everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the impact on Limose Dort's family, especially her son, Janse Joseph. It's unimaginable to consider moving to a new country, seeking safety and opportunity, only to face such a devastating loss. Janse's strength in speaking out about his mother’s love and resilience is truly inspiring, yet it's a testament to the grief he's enduring. I can’t help but wonder how difficult it must be to navigate life after such an unimaginable tragedy, especially given how closely they must have worked together to build a new life in the U.S. Does anyone know if there are any community-based efforts to support families like theirs? It just breaks my heart to think how a single moment can have such far-reaching impacts. Wishing strength and healing to Limose's family and hoping the community continues to rally around them. Thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by gun violence. Stay safe, everyone.

It's difficult to come to grips with the randomness of what happened to Limose Dort. I can't imagine the shock and pain her family is feeling, especially her son, Janse Joseph, who hoped for a brighter future in the U.S. with his mom. The idea that Limose was just moments away from the safety of home when her life was senselessly taken is deeply unsettling. It's frustrating to think about how Oliver Case, despite having been recently released on parole, ended up involved in such a tragic incident. This case really raises questions about the parole system and how individuals like Case are monitored after being released. What more can be done to prevent situations like this? The justice system should protect communities from individuals with criminal pasts who remain a threat. My heart goes out to Limose's family, who deserved so much more than pain and loss. I hope this prompts real change so that no more lives are shattered by senseless violence.
