Has anyone else been struck by the sheer number of people who were present when Ernest Wood was shot, yet no one has come forward? I can’t stop thinking about the 20-30 people who were there when Ernest Wood was killed. It’s so sad to imagine how many potential witnesses might have crucial details that could help solve this case. The fact that everyone fled the scene makes me wonder about the level of fear they must have felt. It’s understandable to be scared, but what worries me is how this culture of fear and silence keeps justice out of reach for families like the Woods.
