Hey everyone,
I've been following the discussions here for a while, but Blake Garnett's case truly stands out to me. One thing I'm really curious about is how the changes in forensic technology might help with these cold cases, especially Blake's. I've read that neighborhoods around New Orleans have been making some efforts to bring in more modern surveillance cameras and other tech advancements. I wonder if any of these could play a role in finding out what really happened to Blake?
It's tragic to think of the pain Blake’s family must be enduring, not having the answers they desperately need. Let’s hope with every bit of technological progress, there’s a renewed push for justice not just for Blake but for all those cases that continue to remain unsolved. Thoughts or any more insights on how tech might help the NOPD in cases like this?
Take care,

Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Blake Garnett, and something that's been on my mind is the impact on his neighborhood in New Orleans. It seems like the community has been really shaken since his murder. From what I've heard, Blake was not just a local but someone who genuinely cared about his neighborhood. It makes me wonder how the people living there have been coping with the loss and ongoing fear due to unsolved crimes.
Does anyone have any insight into how the community has been dealing with this? Have there been any community meetings or initiatives to support each other and push for solutions? It must be tough waking up every day with such uncertainty. My heart goes out to everyone in that area and, of course, to Blake’s family. I hope they find the answers they need soon. Stay strong, New Orleans.
Has anyone else been following the case of Blake Garnett? It's so upsetting to see yet another young life taken too soon. From what I've read, Blake was such a central figure in his family’s life—a beloved son and brother. I can't imagine what they’re going through, especially with all the uncertainty surrounding the investigation.
I’ve been thinking a lot about how the spike in crime back in 2016 really affected New Orleans. It seems like Blake's case is just one of many from that time that remains unsolved. It makes me wonder—could these cases be connected somehow? The New Orleans Police have a tough job ahead of them. It’s clear they’re working hard, but I hope advancements in forensic science soon bring some closure to the Garnett family and others like them.
What are everyone’s thoughts on community involvement in cases like this? I feel like public cooperation is key, but I’d love to hear if anyone else has ideas on how residents can better support the ongoing investigations. Any updates or insights would be much appreciated.
