I've been following the discussion about Jonathan Pena's tragic case, and I wanted to bring up something that hasn't been talked about much—the impact this has on his daughters. Losing a parent in such a violent way must be incredibly traumatic for them. I can't even imagine the heartbreak and confusion they're experiencing right now. As a community, we should keep them in our thoughts and maybe even find ways to support them. Whether it's through donations, emotional support, or just spreading awareness to help catch the suspects, these girls need to know they're not alone. I'm hopeful that increased community involvement and sharing of any potential leads with the NYPD will bring these men to justice and provide some closure for the family.

It's profoundly upsetting to think about Jonathan Pena's family right now, especially his two young daughters having to face life without their dad. I can't even imagine the sense of loss they must be enduring. It’s clear that the NYPD is putting effort into finding these suspects, but it feels like such a critical time for the community to step up. People really need to come forward if they know anything at all about the identity of those involved or even any small detail that might seem insignificant. Every bit of info could be crucial. I just hope that with more eyes on this case and people sharing the surveillance footage, someone out there might recognize the car or the suspects and have the courage to speak up. It’s unnerving to think these guys are still out there, and justice for Jonathan and safety for the community is so important.

Does anyone else feel the pain of seeing a life taken senselessly, especially when it’s someone like Jonathan Pena celebrating his birthday? I keep thinking about how his daughters and girlfriend, Zayerelin, must be coping with this unimaginable loss. They shouldn't have to plea for justice; it should just be served. The fact that the NYPD has surveillance footage but the suspects are still out there is so frustrating. It’s unsettling to think these guys just drove off in a black Mercedes like it was nothing. If you have any piece of information, however small it might seem, please consider reaching out. We need to bring some peace to Jonathan’s loved ones. My heart goes out to all of them. Anyone else from the Mt. Eden neighborhood think of new community safety measures? Maybe more street cameras or community patrols?
