Has anyone else looked into weather conditions on July 1, 1982, around the Brunswick area? I started digging around a bit, and it seems like the weather might have been a factor. I found some old reports suggesting the sea was pretty rough that day, which might explain why the boat capsized. It makes me wonder if sudden bad weather could've caught Randall and Steven off guard. Even experienced sailors can struggle in unexpected conditions. Does anyone have more info on this, or am I barking up the wrong tree? Would love to hear others’ thoughts or what you’ve found in any other similar cases!

Checking in here to see if anyone else has been following the Randall Fuller and Steven Westlake case? Something that's always been on my mind is the weather conditions that day. I read somewhere that the seas were relatively calm, which makes the capsizing even more puzzling. Could there have been a sudden change in weather that caught them by surprise? Or maybe an unexpected rogue wave? It feels like this might be a key factor that hasn’t been explored deeply enough. Anyone live around Brunswick back then or know more about typical sea conditions in that area during early July? Would love to hear thoughts or any additional insights!
