Has anyone else been following the case of Sergio Santana Jr. and Terrance Smith in the Bronx? I just can't stop thinking about how close to home this tragic incident happened for them. It's hard to imagine the fear and shock their families and neighbors must have felt knowing such a violent act took place mere steps from their doorsteps. It makes me wonder about the support systems in place for communities struggling with such high levels of violence. Do you think there are enough resources for families in situations like these to heal and feel safe again? It's such a painful reminder of how much still needs to be done to address gun violence in our neighborhoods. Sending love and strength to the loved ones of Sergio and Terrance during this incredibly difficult time.
