Hey everyone, This case has been weighing heavily on my mind, especially when I think about Julian's family and friends and the void left in their lives. One part I'm really struggling to wrap my head around is the availability of ghost guns. It's terrifying to think that a 16-year-old like Tommy could get his hands on such a lethal weapon without any trace. It raises so many questions about how we regulate access to gun components online. It's hard not to feel for Julian's mother and the rest of his family, knowing they have to live with this unimaginable pain. And for the community in New Rochelle, it must be so frightening to see something like this happen so close to home. The reality is that the ease with which these ghost guns can be assembled poses a significant threat. It makes me wonder what can be done at a community level to prevent something like this from happening again. Are there more proactive measures schools or local organizations can take?
