I’ve been following the tragic case of Kywon K. Cottman, and I keep coming back to the impact this has had on Kywon’s mother, Larisha Norman. As a parent, I can’t imagine the pain and unanswered questions she must be facing. She shared how Kywon was a fun-loving teenager with dreams, who was taken far too soon in such a senseless way. It's heartbreaking to think of every milestone he’ll miss and the future he was supposed to have. I hope the community rallies around Larisha and offers her the support she needs to navigate through this nightmare. It's a stark reminder of how gun violence leaves lasting scars, not just on victims, but on the families and communities left behind. My heart truly goes out to her and everyone who loved Kywon.
